Control Music Looper with a Bluetooth foot pedal

Start, stop, skip and jump between sections with your foot — hands stay on the instrument.

  • Connect a Bluetooth foot pedal in keyboard mode (it acts as a keyboard, not as a MIDI device), then open Settings ▸ Bluetooth pedal.
  • Press a pedal button and pick what it does from the list. If nothing is assigned yet, the first press opens the setup screen on its own.
  • Play / Pause, Start / Stop and Jump to start work on the song screen, on Apple Music songs, in the speed, BPM and pitch practices, in the metronome and in the recorder.
  • Changed pedals? Tap Reset in Settings and assign the buttons again.
  • On the song screen you can also assign Skip back 15 seconds and Skip forward 15 seconds. They work in normal playback too, no loop needed; with a loop running, skipping stays inside the loop.
  • Previous section and Next section jump between your loops in song order. If the song has no loops yet, they follow the analyzed song structure (verse, chorus…).
  • The pedal can send Space, the arrow keys, Page Up / Page Down, Home / End or Return. Assigning a button that already has a command moves it to the new one.

💡 Tip: Assign Jump to start to the second button: with a loop running you can restart the passage from the top without reaching for the phone.

💡 Tip: In pitch practice the second pedal button slows the loop down by 5% — handy when a new key gets harder.
